Meadowbank is set at the northern end of Ambleside, yet only 5 minutes walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. 

 

Meadowbank is a family run bed and breakfast with a relaxed, non intrusive atmosphere.

 

Your hosts, Michael and Catherine Robinson, have a wealth of experience in the hotel industry and are here to make your stay memorable.

 

The house itself dates from the 1830’s and is detached and set in its own grounds with a large private car park.

 

Breakfasts at Meadowbank are cooked to order by Michael and Catherine.  All the main ingredients are locally sourced and all served in the dining room overlooking the garden and fells.

 

After breakfast you can enjoy the views from the lounge while planning the days activities or maybe checking the internet or emails on the free internet connection.

 

Getting out on the fells or off in the car couldn't be easier from MeadowBank, with great walks and fantastic cycle trails right on the door step.  Local shops are just round the corner with all the well known larger chains within 30 minute drive.
